Review: Sonia Batterncourt – ‘Undeniable’
Something just happened! It is not often I do this.
I receive a lot of emails and myspace messages From unsigned and even signed talent informing me of their next release. A majority of the time I just have a quick listen to their preview on myspace then move onto the next email / message.
Today a myspace message came from EN-V Music Record label who focus on producing downloadable tracks and introduced me to Sonia Batterncourt and her newly released track “Undeniable”. Within an hour I had previewed the track on Sonia’s myspace, downloaded it and put this review together which will be published on three websites.
Sonias voice is a unique blessing that really makes you listen to what she is singing about, and once you listen to a preview of the track it is just impossible not to buy the full version and enjoy the beauty of a blessful singer who really has a story to tell. This is probably why I prompty downloaded the track.
Born in Dili, East Timor (An island in Asia) is a portuguese singer who can fluently sing in English, French, Italian and Spanish. Too add to this she has also sung in German and Latin.
Sonia comes accross as a powerful classical singer who is influenced by the likes of Lara Fabian, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, Shania Twain.
Sonia reminds me of a young version of Britains Got Talent Sensation Susan Boyle and a elder version of the young choir singer Charlotte Church.
To find out more about Sonia check out her myspace at http://www.myspace.com/soniabettencourtmusic where you can also preview her tracks and find out how to purchase them from Amazon and iTunes Digital Stores.
I wish Sonia the best of luck with “Undeniable” and if your like me you’ll make a purchase to listen to the full story of her music.
